We understand that from time to time you may wish to return a product to us. That is why we have created this returns policy to enable you to return products to us in appropriate circumstances.

You must contact us via our live chat support or by e-mailing prior to returning any items, within 14 calendar days from receipt of your order.

Items must be returned unused, in its original unopened packaging with any seal or shrink-wrap intact, labels and tags still attached and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new. All products will be inspected on return – those that do not comply with the provisions above will not be accepted due to hygiene reasons.

Any defects in the products must be notified to us before you try on or wear them. Due to the delicate nature of most products on our site, things like rough skin, nails, jewelry, watches, zips and velcro can affect their longevity and durability, and neither us or manufactures have control on how you handle, put on, wear, take off or wash such products.

Please be advised that we don't offer refunds, replacements or returns for items with superficial damage to external cardboard sleeves or boxes, where the product inside is intact and undamaged. Unfortunately, sometimes the products arrive like this to us from the brands after being opened and checked by the customs at the borders, or can be damaged by postal service in transit to you.

Pack your item(s) along with your DressMyLegs invoice or a note quoting your order number, product name, colour and size – if this information is not included, it could delay your exchange or refund.

All returns and exchanges must be sent postage paid. However, if there has been an error on our part, your postage will be refunded.

In the unlikely event that you have received an incorrect item in your order, please contact us immediately or talk to us in our live chat room (open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, excluding public holidays) and we will do our best to rectify this error for you as quickly as possible.

If you have requested an exchange item and your chosen product is not in stock or is no longer available at DressMyLegs, we will offer an alternative item, a refund or placing your item onto back order for you.

We provide size charts and guidance for all our items, so we strongly recommend using those to determine the required size before completing your order. When your order arrives, we also advise to double check the size chart located on the back of your item before opening it.

We do not refund the delivery cost charged on your order, unless you have received an incorrect item. If your returned item(s) reduce the value of your order to below our freepost rate (€35 for Ireland and €60 for UK, Europe and the Rest of the World), you will be charged our standard delivery charge (€2.95 for Ireland, €5.95 for UK/Europe and €6.95 for the Rest of the World). 

If the package is returned to your local post office, and collection by you is not arranged, if you refuse the package or provide incorrect/incomplete address, DressMyLegs will be held responsible for original shipping costs outlined above, and so your order refund (if applicable) will be minus the original shipping costs charged and the administration fee equivalent to 10% of the order value for handling your order.

If you have paid duty for the goods received and wish to return these to us you can claim a refund of the duty from your local customs authority. You will need to show them the proof of the duty originally paid and proof of the return postage. Please contact your local customs authority for more information.

We take fraud very seriously and reserve the right to decline any order and/or terminate the account(s) of any customer who we believe engages in fraudulent practices. Even though we don't have any bricks and mortar stores, fraudulent claims for non-receipt of goods and dishonest, exaggerated or false return claims are attempts to gain goods by deception and will be treated as theft.
